Michael Freiherr is chairman of the eurammon board since November 2020. His focus topics are the further increase of applications with natural refrigerants as well as efficiency of energy and resources. After his training as a refrigeration mechanic and further qualification as a master craftsman for refrigeration plant constructions, Michael Freiherr occupied various positions in the refrigeration installation sector. During his engineering course, he had worked in several departments within Güntner GmbH & Co. KG and graduated from the University of Maryland. He currently works as general manager and chief technical officer at Güntner.
Jan-Peter Nissen, born in 1967, is owner and managing director of Kreutztäger Kältetechnik, Bremen. After his academic career in economics and business administration he startet his professional career in the finance industry followed by the position af a managing director in the industrial plant engineering industry. Nissen has a profound experience in the fields of corprote finance and transforming organizations. The use of natural refrigerants in industrial and commercial refrigeration represents part of the core competences of Kreutzträger Kältetechnik.
Thomas Spänich, born in 1964, is currently senior director/head of product engineering and product management of the GEA RT Division - BU compoments at GEA Refrigeration Germany GmbH, Berlin. Spänich studied thermal and hydraulic mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Dresden and obtained his degree in refrigeration technology in 1990. He began his professional career that same year as a development engineer with Kühlautomat Berlin GmbH. He held before his current position several management positions within GEA.
Rob Vandenboer was born In Lommel, Belgium in 1971 and holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering. As a young engineer he designed HVAC installations, he didn’t leave the cooling industry ever since. He joined Evapco in 2001 and shaped the sales, engineering, quality and management team. In the current position of Technical Director for Evapco Europe, he assures compliance of Evapco’s cooling and refrigeration solutions with EMENA market needs. He helps defining the path forward for Europe’s rapid changing cooling industry, where Eco-Design steers innovation towards energy efficient and environmental conscious cooling solutions. Rob is an active member of the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI) and Eurovent of which he chairs the certification committee for evaporative cooling solutions
Monika Witt, born in 1963, is managing director of the TH. WITT Kältemaschinenfabrik GmbH in Aachen. She studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen and finished with a diploma in the field of process engineering. In 1991 she started as a project engineer for air separation plants at Messer Griesheim GmbH in Krefeld and moved in 1993 to MG Industries USA, a subsidiary of Messer Griesheim GmbH Germany. In 1996 Witt joined the family business TH. WITT Kältemaschinenfabrik where she took over the managing position in 1998.
