eurammon establishes a technical commitee

Frankfurt, June 06, 2011 – eurammon, the European initiative for natural refrigerants, will set up a technical committee. The establishment of the new panel was decided at the Annual Meeting on 6 May 2011 in Rijeka, Croatia. The new committee will consist of members of the initiative, who engage themselves in dealing with new technical ideas, developments and current issues concerning refrigeration with natural refrigerants. The results shall help to optimize the planning and implementation of systems using natural refrigerants, to identify new areas of application and to improve technical processes in terms of safety and energy efficiency in the future. "Due to the rising global cooling and energy requirements as well as high energy costs, it is important to use and enhance the opportunities offered by refrigeration with natural refrigerants," said co-initiator Hermann Renz from the company Bitzer on the outskirts of the meeting.
