eurammon cooperates with the Swiss Association for Refrigeration Technology SVK eurammon, the European initiative for natural refrigerants, and the Schweizerischer Verein für Kältetechnik (SVK – Swiss Association for Refrigeration Technology) are intensifying their cooperation: participation in each other's organisations leads to further expansion of the international network of expertise in natural refrigerants. The SVK, founded on 21 March 1955, groups together companies in the refrigeration and air-conditioning branch with federations and associations, as well as representatives from science and research. As Switzerland's professional trade association for refrigeration and heat pumps in trade and industry, the SVK supports its members in all technical and legal issues related to refrigeration technology, representing their interests vis-à-vis the political sector, business and associations. Furthermore, the SVK's Technische Kommission (TK – Technical Committee) monitors technical developments in Switzerland and abroad, advises political institutions and proposes guidelines for the design, production and operation of refrigerating plants and for handling refrigerants. At the same time, the SVK has set itself the target of promoting a professional approach, high expert quality and trustworthiness in specialist refrigeration companies with guidelines, advanced training and cooperation as well as providing an opportunity for exchanging ideas and optimising quality. The Berufsbildungskommission (BBK – Vocational Training Committee) looks after all aspects of initial and advanced training of refrigeration professionals. Among others, the SVK holds annual congress events to give members and interested non-members an insight into the subject while providing an opportunity for sharing their experiences.
