Monika Witt informs about the eurammon Natural Refrigeration Award
Monika Witt, Chairwoman of eurammon, introduced this year's participants at the international "ATMOsphere" workshop in Brussels to the eurammon Natural Refrigeration Award. The prize launched by eurammon in 2005 is awarded to the best scientific dissertations in the field of natural refrigerants. "As the European initiative for natural refrigerants, eurammon would like to encourage up-and-coming scientists to work at sustainable solutions for refrigeration and air-conditioning technology and continue the on-going development of environment-friendly business in refrigeration technology, using natural refrigerants", explained Monika Witt after the event. "Our aim is to enhance the awareness for and acceptance of natural refrigerants and to act as a source of information for manufacturers, project planners, system engineers and users, providing them with a platform to actively share their experiences." The eurammon Natural Refrigeration Award which is worth €5,000 is presented every two years in international cooperation with a trade magazine and a university each time.
