Chillventa 2010: Increasing worldwide focus on natural refrigerants
International interest in natural refrigerants continues to increase – as also revealed at this year's Chillventa from 13 to 15 October in Nuremberg. Once again at the Chillventa 2010, eurammon informed numerous visitors from all over the world about the environmentally friendly and energy efficient properties of natural refrigerants and possible areas of application in refrigeration and air-conditioning technology. The highlight on Thursday was the symposium organised by eurammon on "Applications with natural refrigerants – country situation and experiences". Presentations by international experts illustrated the current situation in the use of natural refrigerants both in industry and in emerging and developing countries, clearly showing how the introduction and use of natural refrigerants is affected by general economic conditions and also by efficient initial and advanced training programmes.
